Department has completed three Research Projects.

Nearly 1000 degree holders from the subject are working in different Industrial Units, both in India and Abroad as Labour Officer, Personnel Officers / High Dignitaries of H.R.D. in both Public and Private Sector.

The liaison with the Industrial Unit has been maintained since the inception of the department.

Till date the Department could be able to point out the situation of bonded labour, ricksaw pullers and affected persons on account of changes in Mortgage Law resultant of which the Government of Bihar had to change its laws and policies.

The absorption rate in employment of M.A. Degree holder of the subject is 1:4.

Dr. Rabindra Kumar, faculty member of the Dept. is a guest faculty in NASIER (Banglore) and Indian Council of Life Insurance Professionals (Banglore).

Dr. (Mrs.) Nirmala Kumari, faculty member of the Dept. has recently completed six day worshop on Capacity Building of Women Administrator in Higher Education, in Kolkata, organized by NAAC.
