UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF LAW

• In 1999 Post Graduate Research Council in Law was created and till now 11 research scholars have been registered for Ph.D. degree in different subject like Human Rights, Criminal Law, Environmental Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Labour Law, Torts and International Law.

• Five research scholars have already submitted their thesis.




• A research centre has also been established by the University in this department in the name the first President a India and first master of Laws degree holder is Bihar. The centre has been named as “Dr. Rajendra Prasad Legal Awareness and Research Centre.”

• A seminar was organized on 16-07-2003 on the subject of “Justice to People.” And Justice R. S. Garg, Patna High Court was the main speaker in the seminar.
