He has to his credit a book and many papers in research journals. He also has attended and presented papers and acted as Panel President in national Seminars and Conferences. He is actively engaged in teaching and research in Sociology for the last three decades.

Authored two books and has contributed a number of papers to research Journals. Twelve scholars have been awarded Ph.D. degree under his supervision. He has participated and presented papers in numberous conferences and Seminars including one in World Sociological congress. Acted as panel President in Seminars and Conferences has also Co-organized four national Seminars. He has completed a U.G.C. Research Project. Presently he is a Vice-President of Bihar Sociological Society and Member of Editorial Board of the University Journal - Champa. He has remained actively engaged in teaching and research in Sociology for the last three decades.
