Prof. K.N. Dubey, Former Head, Department of Zoology, Ranchi
University did his B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D. from Ranchi University. His
brilliant career brought him to teaching profession at Ranchi
University. He is academic in the field of science for 36 years. He
has supervised/guided Ph.D. students and published and presented
more than 25 research papers in reputed National and International
Journal in different discipline of Zoology viz. Ecology,
Bio-diversity, Behaviour and Cytogenetics. He participated in 15
National and International Conference/Seminar/Workshop and presided
over and delivered key-note address in Academic meets. He is an
editor and member of Advisory Committee of several National and
International Journals. He is a member of several Academic Bodies
like Zoological Society of India, Indian National Science Congress
Association, National Environmental Association, Indian Society of
Haematology and Eco-toxicology. He was also a member of Board of
Studies, Selection Committee, Advisory Committee, Examination Board
etc. of Ranchi University and other Universities of Bihar and Orissa.
He was on key Administrative Post as officer in Ranchi University
for more than 10 years and served the University with Hon’ble
Vice-Chancellor of Ranchi University to achieve the goal of
potential of excellence in Education and Research.
