KCG College of Technology has set up certain eligibility criteria that a candidate applying must meet. Every candidate must follow the eligibility before applying. Following are the eligibility set by the institute listed below:
|BE/ B.Tech||Candidates of Tamil Nadu must have A pass with a minimum average of 50% in PCM put together while the reserved class must have 45% in PCM.SCA/SC/ST must pass with a minimum mark of 40% in the related subjects and Vocational subjects [theory and practical] put together.|
|BE/ B.Tech[Lateral Entry]||Applicants must pass Diploma with minimum eligibility in Engineering / Technology of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu / Equivalent prescribed for the respective Degree Courses. Candidates passing with minimum eligibility marks in B.Sc in relevant fields with Maths as one of the subjects. Candidates must have a minimum of 55% marks overall while BC & BC [Muslims] must have at least 50% marks while MBC & DNC must have a minimum of 45% marks and SCA/SC/ST must have at least 40% marks.|

KCG College of Technology Admission:
KCG College of Technology admission is based completely on merit. Candidates must apply online on the official website. Seats are allotted through Counselling conducted by Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test for the postgraduate degree and TNEA counseling for all the Undergraduate courses. All application forms are filled on the website of Anna University. Candidates applying online must register with their email id and mobile number. Candidates applying to the programs must make a payment of INR 500 for general candidates and INR 250 for SC/ ST and OBC. They must provide all the academic details correctly. The payment must be done using Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net banking. Everyone must have a printout of the application and submit it at the time of certificate verification. Candidates have to carry all of their original documents to the counseling. Candidates applying offline must make a payment of INR 700 and INR 450 for SC/ ST and OBC. Once the application is completed, the students are called for the counseling round.
