Understanding TNTET Syllabus 2025
TNTET is a teachers’ eligibility test, conducted by the Tamil Nadu Teachers Board every year to hire primary and upper primary teachers for government schools. Teaching job aspirants who are willing to teach classes I to V will appear for TNTET Paper I.
Those who want to be upper primary teachers (from class 6 to 8) will appear for Paper-II. The syllabi of both TNTET papers, Paper I and Paper II, are different and vary in subjects, topics, and levels of difficulty. There are some common things also in both papers, such as each paper has 150 questions and 150 marks. There is no negative marking applicable in either of the tests.
